Car had been sitting for a couple years, but last I recall, the fresh air blower fan worked, but now, the light comes on, but fan is not working?

Any thoughts, ideas, or suggestions?

The light is not wired directly to the fan. The light ground on the slider contacts on the vent control; power can come from any 12v wire.
So, just because the vent control light comes on its not directly related to the fan itself.

Cleaning the contacts on the sliders worked for me getting it to work.

I tried scratching their back, but maybe not good enough. Will try it again.

Here’s the fans inputs. Red is 12v, the other three are ground that you activate at the vent control. Do you have 12 V ?

Don't recall if that plug is accessible from the outside? Maybe it worked loose, or not a good connection.

IIRC , the plug attaches to the bottom of the blower assembly

I know it probably sounds silly, though check the fuse as well. Recently, in high-heat driving through the Central CA Valley a fuse melted and I had a similar result.

Check the fuse # 8; it powers the cig lighter, fresh air blower, and windshield wiper motor, plus air blower indicator lamp. One of the Red/White wires goes to the fan.

Tried a different relay also, but didn't work, so I put the old one back in place. Anyway, it gudgingly started to work, but I can only get it to work on 2nd speed. No high, or low speed??
